Can the cabinets be wall mounted only?

Accepted Answer

Base and tall cabinets should be attached to the wall with the legs in use.

In some cases where there is a cement curb that interferes with installation we suggest that cabinets are attached to the wall and front legs are used in the front of the cabinets.

What type of hinges are used?

Accepted Answer

For more than 25 years we have used a European style hinge made in Italy, the brand is Salice (pronounced Sal-eech-ee).

We use tens of thousands of these hinges every year without a single failure. Don't be fooled there are many inexpensive imported hinges that look similar to a Salice hinge, but they are not, there is a big difference. As mentioned, here are certainly less expensive options for hinges, but when you find something that works without failures, you keep it.

Salice hinges provide 6 way adjustment to easily adjust the door gaps so your doors are perfectly aligned.

Our standard hinge is the self closing type, as an option we offer soft close hinges also. (Salice is one of very few that manufacture a soft closing hinge that is engineered to work in extreme cold and hot temperatures).

As you know the garage environment can be challenging for hardware, you will be pleased to know that the hinges and all other hardware we use has a Lifetime Warranty.

Can we sell cabinets without the door pulls?

Accepted Answer

We can sell the cabinet doors without the door pulls. We will discount $8.75 for each door pull that the order needs.

What to do if the cabinet shelves are loose and come out of the shelf pins?

Accepted Answer

If you put door bumber stickers onto the shelf pins, this will help the cabinet shelves from moving around. It gives it a "rubber" grip that will hold the shelf in place.

Sinks that we recommend for our base cabinets

Accepted Answer

If you would like to add a sink to one of our base cabinets, we suggest that the sink dimensions are 20"W x 20"D x 10"H including the faucet. The width of the sink can be wider but should be at least 3" less than the width of the cabinet.

The longest piece of maple countertop available is 94"L x 23-5/8"D x 1-3/4 thick.

**The front overhangs for all countertops are 1.188".

The longest piece of black impact countertop is 94"L x 43"D x 1-1/8" but you will have to charge the countertop twice because of the depth.
